This is one of several shots of sections of the plane.
The F-15 Eagle has never been shot down in an Air-to-Air engagement. One I know of had a wing taken off and still land safely AND taxi to it's parking spot. (It was a mid-air collision during a training mission by the Israeli Air Force)
